PRESS RELEASE Union Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee launches ‘UCO Mobile Bank’ On Saturday, the 17th April, 2010, Union Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee launched ‘UCO Mobile Bank’ at Deuli Village (Raghunathganj) in the District of Murshidabad of West Bengal. The Finance Minister highly appreciated UCO Bank’s innovative move towards Financial Inclusion through the Mobile Bank, which has all the major banking facilities including biometric ATM with Braille facility for the visually challenged persons. The Mobile Bank will cover 6 (six) identified villages under Raghunathganj Branch in the District of Murshidabad (W.B.) at scheduled hours on all the working days to cater to the banking needs of the rural people there. Apart from the ATM facility on board, the Mobile Bank also supports receipt of loan applications and delivery of loans to the villagers.
