Shri S.A. Bhat has joined UCO Bank as Executive Director on 2nd February, 2006

Shri S.A. Bhat has joined UCO Bank as Executive Director on 2nd February 2006. Prior to this assignment, he was General Manager with Bank of India, holding the charge of Risk Management & Credit Monitoring.

Born in October 1950, Shri Suhas Anand Bhat is a vastly experienced commercial banker, having joined Bank of India in 1972 and occupied a number of key positions there with wide exposure. Notable among the areas he has worked are Credit, International Banking, etc. He has served at different overseas centers of Bank of India, e.g. at London and New York. He also has considerable operational exposure as Branch Manager as well as Zonal Manager with Bank of India.

Shri Bhat has represented his erstwhile bank on a number of important committees of RBI including its Technical Advisory Committee as well as its various committees on Basel II. He has also been on the Committees of the IBA.
