TENDER CUM PUBLIC AUCTION SALE
Notice is hereby given to the public in general and to the borrowers and
guarantors in particular that the under mentioned properties mortgaged to UCO Bank,
International Banking Branch, Chennai and taken possession under the provisions of
Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest
Act, 2002 will be sold by Tender cum Public Auction on 28.10.2005 for recovery of a sum of
Rs.11,02,54,135.57 (Rupees Eleven crores two lakhs fifty four thousand one hundred and
thirty five and paise fifty seven only) plus further interest from 01.04.2003 and costs
due from M/s.Ramco Super Leathers Limited, Sethu House, 28,Dr.Alagappa Road, Chennai-600

The Auction will be held at 3.00 p.m.on 28.10.2005 at the premises of UCO Bank,
International Banking Branch, 328,Thambu Chetty Street, III Floor, Chennai-600001. The
properties will be sold in "as is where is condition" in all respect and subject
to statutory dues, if any. .

No.130 & 40' Scheme Road admeasuring East to West 40' on the Northern side and 110' on
the Southern side and North to South 44' on the Eastern Side and 55' on the western side
leaving Scheme Road, measuring 2808 sq. ft. together with easement and common passage

The upset price for the properties is Rs. 6,20,00,000/-(Rupees Six crores
and twenty lakhs only)

The intending bidders should send their bids in closed covers to The
Asst.General Manager, UCO Bank, International Banking Branch, 328, Thambu Chetty Street,
III Floor, Chennai-600 001 along with the EMD of Rs. 62,00,000/(Rupees Sixty two lakhs
only) by means of a D.D./Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of UCO Bank, International
Banking Branch, Chennai payable at Chennai before 12.00 noon on the date of auction
(28.10.2005 )which is refundable without interest if the bid is not successful. The EMD
shall be liable for forfeiture without any prior notice if the successful bidder fails to
adhere to the terms of sale, time and commit any default in any manner.
The sealed tenders will be opened by the Authorised Officer in the
presence of available / attending tenderers.
After opening the tenders, the intending bidders may be given an
opportunity at the discretion of the Authorised Officer, to have inter- se bidding among
themselves to enhance the offer price.
The successful bidder should deposit 25% of the bid amount (inclusive of
EMD) on the same day of the sale in cash or DD drawn as above and the balance bid amount
within 15 days from the date of confirmation of sale by the secured creditor or the
Authorised Officer. In case of default, all amount deposited till then shall be forfeited.
The successful bidder should bear the charges / fees payable for
conveyance such as Stamp duty, Registration fees etc applicable as per law.
The Authorised Officer has absolute right to accept or reject a bid or
postpone / cancel the auction without assigning any reason therefor and also to modify any
terms and conditions of this sale without any prior notice.The properties will not be sold
below the upset price.
The sale is subject to confirmation by the bank.
The properties are being sold subject to conditions prescribed in the
Second Schedule to the Income Tax Act, 1961 and rules made thereunder.
The properties can be inspected between 10 am and 5 pm during working
