Inviting bids from intending buyers for sale of our stake in HDFC Real Estate Fund (VCF) and entire share holding in Securities Trading Corporation of India

We invite bids in sealed cover from the interested parties/ banks/institutions for sale of our following investment:

1 Form of Stake : Equity
2 Name of Company : Securities Trading Corporation of India
3 No. of Shares held : 611700
4 Face Value of Share : Rs.100
5 Total Face Value : Rs. 6,11,70,000/-
6 Whether Fully Paid : Yes
7 Listing status : Unlisted / Unquoted
8 Shares available for sale : 611700

Only those bids which are for our entire shareholding shall be entertained. The sealed covers superscribed as 'Bids for STCI Shares' in bold letters be sent on the following address latest by 10-02-07. Mere submission of the bids shall not confer any right on the bidder and Bank reserves the right to accept/ reject any bid without assigning any reason whatsoever. 2 Name of the Fund : HDFC Real Estate Fund
3 Name of the Investment Manager : HDFC Venture Capital Ltd.
4 Name of the Trustee : HDFC Venture Trustee Co. Ltd.
5 Total Commitment : Rs. 100 crore
6 Present Contribution : Rs.80 crore in the shape of 8 lac units with the face value of Rs.1000/- per unit
7 Uncalled Amount : Rs.20 crore
8 Amount Put on Block/ Sale : Rs.100 crore

Only those bids which are for our entire commitment (contributed/ likely to be contributed + uncalled) shall be entertained. The sealed covers superscribed as 'Bids for HDFC VCF' in bold letters, be sent on the following address latest by 10-02-07. Mere submission of the bids shall not confer any right on the bidder and Bank reserves the right to accept/ reject any bid without assigning any reason whatsoever. Bids shall be opened after giving due notice on our website. As per the contribution agreement, transfer of entire commitment shall be subject to approval of the contributor by the trustees to the Fund.
