Prequalification notice inviting applications for empanelment of original equipment manufacturers/ suppliers for the work of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of diesel generating sets

Applications for empanelment are invited by UCO Bank, Head Office, 10, B.T.M. Sarani, Kolkata-1 directly from bona-fide and resourceful Original Equipment Manufacturers/ suppliers for the work of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Generating sets having capacity 400 KVA and above.

The applicants should possess previous experience of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of similar equipments during last 5 (Five) years to at least five Government organizations/undertakings besides other organizations and equipments supplied should be in successful operation for at least 3 (Three) years. The applicants should have established network in Kolkata to ensure timely execution of work and provide prompt technical support service.

The applications should be addressed to the Asst. General Manager, UCO Bank, Head Office, General Administration Deptt., Martin Burn Building (3rd Floor), 1, R.N. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata - 700 001 and submitted along with the following documents by 12.03.2007:

  1. A list of similar type of work with minimum value of Rs.20 Lacs executed in Govt. organizations/undertakings and also in reputed non Govt. organizations during last 5 (Five) years with completion certificates mentioning therein the details of work with value and date of completion.

  2. Audited account and Balance sheet for last five years.

  3. Total Annual Turnover in the country in last three years (Applicants having annual turnover of less than Rs.10 crores need not apply).

  4. Name and address of Bankers with Solvency Certificate.

  5. Inspection and testing facilities and procedure.

  6. Availibility of fully equipped Service Centre in Kolkata to provide prompt after-sales service.

  7. No. of years of service in the country.

  8. Market share holding in the business of Diesel Generating Sets in India during last three years.

  9. Photo copies of PAN card, VAT registration certificate, service tax registration certificate and other statutory registration certificates.

Applications through dealers will not be considered. Tender papers will be issued only to pre-qualified vendors.

UCO Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason therefor.
