Tender Notice for purchase of motorcycles

Sealed tenders are invited from original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for purchase of approximately 194 motorcycles for use of the Bank at various branches spread all over the country. Tenders are to be submitted at UCO Bank, H.O. G. A. D, Martin Burn Building at 1, R.N.Mukherjee Road, 3rd Floor, Kolkata by 6.6.2007. The vendor should have service centers spread in all states of the country & U.Ts to ensure efficient after sales service. General specification of the vehicle proposed to be purchased should cover the following :-

1. Engine : 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled.

2. Engine displacement : 100 cc & 125 cc.(approx)

3. Starting : Self start/ kick start.

4. Gear shifting : International standard.

5. Clutch : Wet & Multiplate

6. Fuel Emission : As per latest emission norms.

7. Transmission : Minimum 4 speed gear.

Tenders should be submitted for both 100 cc(approx) & 125 cc (approx) Engine 4 stroke motorcycles separately under DGS & D Rate contract only. The vendor should specify the time of delivery in their tenders and the Bank desires that the delivery is effected within the shortest possible time of placing the firm order by the Bank. Discount if any available should invariably be mentioned in the tenders. The rates quoted should be valid for three months from the date of submission of the quotation. Bank reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
