UCO SECURE MOBILE APP: INTRODUCTION

Bank has launched UCO Secure mobile application to instantly disable/enable digital banking services anytime, anywhere 24 x 7.

  • “UCO Secure” app will increase customer security in digital banking transaction as customers can temporarily block any of the Bank’s Digital Banking service when they are not required.
  • Fraudsters will thus not be able to misuse the digital banking service (when service is in disabled mode) even if user details have been compromised.
  • As and when, customer requires using the service, required services may be enabled instantly.

UCO SECURE MOBILE APP: FEATURES

1) UCO Secure app can be installed on mobile handsets with Android OS. iOS application.

2) Bank’s customer can register and set login pin using registered mobile number (via OTP) or using Debit card details.

3) In case, any ADC service is not required, customer can instantly disable any of the given ADC services without making any call or visiting branch.

  • Debit card (ATM, POS, e-commerce, domestic, international)
  • m-banking,
  • e-banking,
  • BHIM UCO UPI
  • UCOPAY+

4) Similarly, whenever any ADC service is required, service may be enabled instantly sitting at the comfort of home or on the move.

5) Customer also has the option to block all ADC services in one go (except debit card).

UCO SECURE MOBILE APP: REGISTRATION PROCESS

To use the app, it is necessary that internet connection is available on the mobile either using data connection or through WIFI.

UCO SECURE MOBILE APP: SERVICES

Upon successful login using 4 digit Mpin, user would be able to view Digital Products available for blocking/unblocking & user profile.

Customer now has the option to block any or all of the ADC services when they are not required.

For example, if a customer wants to temporarily block debit card (international) services, he may do so by selecting ‘ATM DEBIT CARD’ -> CHOOSE ACCOUNT NUMBER-> change the switch to ‘disable’ to instantly block this service.

Customer will receive a confirmation message.

User need not enter any other password while blocking any product. However, when the user will “unblock” the service, request will have to be verified via OTP sent to customer’s registered mobile number.

Similarly customer can instantly disable/enable other digital banking services:
Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, BHIM UCO UPI & UCOPAY+.

UCO SECURE MOBILE APP: FORGOT MPIN (LOGIN PIN)

In case the customer forgets his/her Mpin (login pin), the same may be reset by following the given steps:

  • Select “forgot mpin” option present at the login screen.
  • User will then receive OTP on his/her registered mobile number.
  • Enter a/c number and one of last 5 transaction details.
  • Set new MPIN and login again.
